Makassar is a city located in the province of South Sulawesi. Makassar has many tourism potentials, ranging from tourist destinations, special foods, and many more related to tourism.
1. Somba Opu Fort
Fort Somba Opu is a witness of the history of the people struggle from Gowa-Tallo kingdom. This fort reflects the success of Gowa-Tallo kingdom which is one of the most visited port of traders from around the world. In the castle area there is a giant cannon. Currently, in the fortress built Argowisata area in the form of traditional houses from all over South Sulawesi. Visiting Fort Somba Opu Sampir Same as visiting all areas in South Sulawesi. In the fortress area there is still the original red stone when the fortress was built.
2. Tanjung Bayang Beach
Tanjung Bayang Beach is one of the favorite beaches of the people
of Makassar. In addition to the close enough access, this beach also gives a
sense of comfort. Tanjung Bayang Beach is a place that must be visited if you
are in Makassar, apart from the atmosphere of the beach we can also refreshing

Taman Theme Park is an amusement park in the Trans Studio
Makassar. A visit to this location can give visitors a unique experience.
Unlike most other playgrounds, at Trans Studio Makassar, visitors can feel a
variety of games without having to worry about the heat of sunlight. To enjoy
all the rides available in this Trans Studio Makassar complex, visitors are
charged a 1-time ticket. After entering the area, visitors will not be charged
another ticket when they want to enjoy various rides. For weekdays
(Monday-Friday) tickets are charged at Rp. 150,000. While weekends (Saturday,
Sunday) and public holidays are subject to a ticket fee of Rp 200,000,-. Trans
Studio Makassar is open for public visit starting from 09.00 until closing at
22.00.

Dome 99 Mousque
In the
center of Makasar Town is a monument named Monumen Mandala. Mandala Monument is
built to commemorate the liberation of West Irian. This equilateral triangular
shaped building looks so charming and elegantly furnished with towers towering
around 75 meters from ground level. The triangular shaped building is a symbol
of Trikora (three people's commands). At the bottom and top of the building
there are reliefs that form a blaze signifying the fighting spirit Trikora. The
two-storey Monument Trikora holds many uniqueness on each floor. So when you
visit to Makasar less complete it feels if you do not get to stop by to see the
tourism area of the Mandala monument. This place is very affordable so you can
use any vehicle to get to the historical place of this monument mandala.
6. Fort Rotterdam
Fort Rotterdam is not located in a remote place so it is
very easy to find. We will not be charged this fortress entrance fee. If viewed
from the sides of the fortress, the stone of the fortress walls is a
distinctive stone that is not given in the arrangement. Wall thickness is about
2 meters. Upon entering this fortress, we will find a beautiful green garden
and surrounded by old terraced buildings. Inside the fortress, we will find the
museum La Galigo. The condition of Fort Rotterdam is well preserved, I did not
even find the slightest garbage when entering this fortress even though the
castle is always crowded with visitors because of the often occupied
performances. There are places typical souvenir of Makassar in the Fort
Rotterdam area.
7. Losari
Beach
Losari Beach is one of the icon of Makasar City. Losari
Beach is located in the coastal area of Makasar city, to go to Losari Beach
from the middle of the city Makasar only about 3 kilometers. Do not worry too
much transportation to get to Losari beach such as taxis, public
transportations, and other vehicles. Losari Beach has its own attraction for
the community. There Lita can enjoy the beauty of the beach and can enjoy the
sunset at the beach.
8. Amirul
Mukminin Mosque
Better
known as the floating Mosque with its uniqueness built on sea level and located
right in the northeast of Losari Beach. The original name of this mosque is
actually the mosque Amirul Mukminin, better known as the floating Mosque
because it is located in the northeast of the Losari beach which makes every
Dolaners who come and also relax and Rest with the breeze of Losari beach and
enjoy the beauty of its panorama. The View will become more special during the

9. Cheng
Ho Mosque
The Cheng Hoo Mosque has two floors and is capable of
accommodating about 600 worshippers. The first floor is used for the male
congregation, while the second floor is specially used for the female
congregation. The towers on both sides of the mosque mimic Chinese shrines,
painted in red and jade green.
10. Akkarena Beach
Akkarena Beach is one of the friendest places for family

There are still so many tourism destinations in Makassar that I haven't visited that day. Keep guarding every place and do not pollute anything that is passed or commemorated.
